A Practical Guide to Ordering Custom Printed Macarons for Your Next Event

A Practical Guide to Ordering Custom Printed Macarons for Your Next Event

Custom printed macarons are one of those things people don't think to order until they see one. Then they want them for everything: client gifts, product launches, retail activations, weddings, office parties. If you're planning one of these and wondering where to start, here's the practical rundown.

What "Custom Printed" Actually Means
We print your logo, photo, or design directly onto the macaron shell using edible ink, not a paper topper and not a sticker. It's food-safe, it looks sharp, and for events we can print live on-site, so guests watch their own macaron get printed in front of them.

Who Orders These (and Why)

  • Corporate gifting: client thank-yous, holiday boxes, closing gifts
  • Product launches and retail activations: brand logo on every macaron as a giveaway
  • Weddings and milestone events: monograms, photos, save-the-dates
  • Office events and team celebrations: company logo, team photos

What You'll Need Before You Order

  • Logo or artwork file: vector (AI, EPS, SVG) preferred; high-resolution PNG (300 dpi+) works if vector isn't available. Low-res or compressed JPGs cause delays because we have to request a better file.
  • Brand colors: hex codes if you have brand guidelines. Edible ink on a matte shell won't match a screen color 1:1; we recommend a test print for exact brand-color jobs.
  • Quantity: based on headcount, plus a buffer. We recommend 10 to 15% over your guest count to account for underestimated RSVPs.
  • Event date and format: pickup, delivery, or live on-site printing.

Timeline
Standard orders: plan 2 to 3 weeks ahead for the smoothest turnaround, especially with color-matching or vector-artwork needs. Rush orders may be possible depending on capacity, so ask us directly if your event is coming up fast.

Live On-Site Printing
For corporate events, this is usually the bigger hit versus pre-boxed favors: guests pick a flavor, watch their logo or photo print in real time, and walk away with something they can't get anywhere else. It works well as a booth or activation at trade shows, office parties, and client appreciation events.

One More Thing for Procurement Teams
Macadons holds MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) certification through Northwest Mountain MSDC, which may support supplier diversity goals for corporate procurement programs.
